ALPHA PHI FOUNDATION EMPOWERS WOMEN TO BE GENEROUS GIVERS. THIS INCLUDES RAISING AND AWARDING FUNDS FOR PROGRAMS THAT ADVANCE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, ENCOURAGE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, IMPROVE WOMEN’S HEART HEALTH, SUPPORT SISTERS IN NEED, AND EDUCATE ABOUT THE VALUE OF PHILANTHROPY.

Red Dress Gala

In 2016 Mines Alpha Phi hosted their first annual Red Dress Gala. The event raised an impressive $15,000 for women's heart health through a silent auction, fun games, and generous donations by Alpha Phi supporters.

Hoops for Heart had its first year on the Mines campus in 2023. Alpha Phi supported

women's heart health by hosting a basketball tournament to the Mines community and spreading the word about heart health!

HOOPS For Heart

Heart Health Week is a week long philanthropy event in the heart of February during Valentines Day! This event raises awareness on campus for the philanthropy and women's heart health through tabling events, fundraising, candy grams, food, and more.
