Leadership in Alpha Phi
Hello!
My name is Emma Oryshchyn and I am honored to serve as the President of the Iota Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi at the Colorado School of Mines. During my time at Mines, joining Alpha Phi has been one of my best decisions. The Iota Zeta chapter is comprised of remarkable young women who embody qualities of determination, kindness, intelligence, and a shared commitment to service and scholarship. While the academic challenges at Mines are substantial, the unwavering support and encouragement from the women of Alpha Phi make every obstacle more manageable. Each day, I am grateful for the opportunity to know and be inspired by my sisters, who have become not only my closest friends but also my role models. Being an Alpha Phi has truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I encourage you to explore our chapter and get to know the incredible women of Alpha Phi through our website!

Members of Alpha Phi recognize the importance of using their collegiate years to gain valuable leadership experience. Our members hold many leadership positions within our chapter that guide and govern our members. These roles allow our chapter officers the opportunity to become a leader among their peers. Many members of our chapter are also involved in activities outside of Alpha Phi that will help shape their future success. Year-round, our chapter members participate in internships and jobs, volunteering, study abroad opportunities, and clubs and student organizations.
